Teen Struggles

Here you are heard.

“It takes courage to become who you really are” - E.E. Cummings

Teens:

The teenage years can be some of the best and worst years of our lives. Transitions between constant highs and lows can be tiring. Changing of friendships, academic performance, and being uncertain about the future are just some of the problems we feel. We feel that we are alone—the only ones who are depressed, the only ones with anxiety, or the only ones who can understand how we feel.

I’m here to tell you that you aren’t alone, and provide a safe space to explore these areas in which it is natural to struggle in. This is a nonjudgmental area that you can dump out your fears and anxieties, where we can slow life down together and take the next steps forward.

Parents:

Having a teen can be equally as challenging. A lot of times we think that we’ve already gone through those years, we made it so it’s not so bad. What we often fail to realize is how quickly the environments around us change, and though the struggles we faced might be similar, our situations are completely different. As a parent you just want to be their for your teens, be able to have conversations with them and connect.

My goal is to help navigate the changing family dynamic as your children grow up to be teens. We will explore the back-and-forth communication and create better connections to succeed together.

If you’re feeling the weight, we can share the load.
